Release - 20170321 - activity filtering, and listing fixes

I've taken a one-release break from work on correctness and completeness to focus on the activity page.

The ability to list all fixes made my bliss (i.e. everything that depletes your fix count) has been long requested. This release adds activity filtering, a way of filtering entries in the Activity page, including those activities that result in the consumption of a 'fix'.

Filtering activities that consumed a fix

Other options are to filter activity logs relating to album assessments (which tend to take up a bulk of the log), the file scan and system errors.

More improvements

  • Fixed the ordering of activity events.
  • More work to avoid error messages when changing settings.
  • Support hyphens in file organisation conditional statements.
  • Ensure com.elsten.bliss.main.jar is updated by in-app update.

Downloading and installing

You can download from the downloads page. After you click through, installation instructions are available on the page following download.

In app update will only work for release 20170307 and later. That's because of a fix in 20170307 following the changes introduced in 20170209 which I wrote about in my call for beta testers. Users on older versions should download the latest and install manually, and from then on in-app update should work again.
