Hi! You're viewing an old feature page for bliss which may have outdated features and old screenshots. I've written a tour of bliss with more up to date features and screenshots. Please read that instead!

But if you must read on... go on, I'm not going to do anything horrible like automatically redirect you to the new pages. Honest...

Install wherever you like

bliss can be installed on normal desktops, laptops or even home servers. bliss has a Web interface which means you can run it on your home network and access it wherever you are in the world using your Web browser.

Fully automatic and unobtrusive; runs in the background

bliss can be run constantly in the background. When it sees new music in your collection, it applies the album art rules you have defined, automatically. If it needs some help deciding the best course of action it asks you via its Web interface.

Available for Windows, Mac and Linux

bliss runs on Windows, Mac and Linux. It also runs on VortexBox, a networked home music jukebox. Try installing bliss on your home server!

Wide music file format support

bliss supports the following music file formats (in alphabetical order): FLAC, MP3, MP4, M4A, M4B, M4P, OGG, WMA. We believe your music library should be enjoyed with whatever players you choose, so we build tools to achieve that.

Supporting your digital music obsession

We believe you should be able to own your own music and own the choice of which players and tools you use to enjoy your music. bliss is designed to make it easy to switch from player to player. Imagine: you have a collection of one thousand albums and you chose a new player which only supported embedded album art. Using bliss you could embed all of your art in one click.

Works with iTunes

bliss overcomes some of the shortcomings of managing album art with iTunes. If you are waiting to make the leap to another music player, bliss can automatically convert all your album art for the new player, by choosing the correct rules.

Works with manual music taggers

bliss is a fully automated music organiser that works by editing your music files on your behalf, in accordance with the rules you have defined. It can work alongside a traditional manual tagger where you manually edit music files. We don't expect you to stop using your old favourite tools if they are still useful to you.
